I also have a vodacom data contract.
So this tablet has the sim inside to use as a phone and a 3g usb port to access internet.off the usb modem.
Presently I am operating noff ba blackberry and I use the 3g on my usb modem on my laptop. My blackberry Torch is giving me trouble and battling to use it the way it should be ans 3 months before my early update. If this tablet can serve two purposes that would be great. I spend my daylight hours travelling aand I do all my business off my phone, so now I ahould be able to use the internet and the phone independantly off one unit without using my talk time on data.
I hope I have explained myself.
How many units do you have. I do not want to miss out on this deal. As soon as I get feedback and it is positive then I can go ahead and complete the sale

)It has 3G built in, it also has a usb port. So I guess you should be able to set it up so that it uses a external 3g card. I will check it out and let you know.

I played around with the tablet, but could not get to register two simcards at onece. It only detects you internal 3G simcard which use it as a phone aswell as the 3G for internet.

I don't think it's possible two connect two cards to a tablet at one time.
How would I use my data sim in conjunction with my phone sim?
This will determine my purchasing of this item

Is this two different sims, one for phoning and the data sim for internet, or is it one sim for both purposes. I also bought myself a 3G Pay as you go for when I reached my cap, I can switch over to my 3G Pay as you go. If it's one sim like mine, yes you can use it. What network are you using, Mtn, Vodacom or Cellc.
