As the name implies, this knife comes with a specially designed sheath, which is made of nylon that is “military grade” and provides protection against inclement weather and even mildew. The 3-3/5” blade folds in, which makes the knife more compact and portable. Made of high carbon stainless steel, the blade is half-serrated for cutting rope and edge retention, among other uses. Like its nylon sheath, the knife itself is also lightweight, weighing in at 5-3/10 ounces. When opened, the knife measures in at 8-1/2” long and 4-9/10” when closed. This makes it ideal for storage in a person’s pocket or backpack.
The Bear Grylls Folding Sheath Knife comes with a rubber handle for an easier grip and is ergonomically designed for comfort when handling.
