Southern Rhodesia 1937 KG VI 1d A COMPLETE sheet ( 4 panes of 60 stamps) of the Perforated Proofs ex The Waterlow Printers Archive. The sheet has pen notations on top margin "File Copy 24711" and is mounted on a wax paper (done by Waterlow) Many of the items suffered water damage due to bombing during the 2WW. This, having no gum and some water infusions is one of them.
These Archival Punch Hole Proofs were mostly split into small multiples after being sold and few seem to have survived intact like the one offered here. A Spectacular and Rare item.
