Tranquility is the key word at this Eastern Transvaal resort, set among lush gardens on 179 hectares of indigenous bush, 14km from the Mpumalanga town of Burgersfort.
Gethlane Lodge offers magnificent relaxation beside one of 5 swimming pools as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna. For the more energetic guests crazy golf, outdoor chess, a children's playground and trampoline are on offer. The numerous onsite facilities include an all-weather tennis court and two swimming pools supplied by mineral springs. There is a fine restaurant onsite for an alternative dining option and babysitting services are available. Wildlife abounds, and giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, kudu, bushbuck, nyala, warthog, klipspringer, ostrich, grey rhebok, impala, jackal, caracal, leopard and baboon can be found on the resort itself.
