Q:
Hi there
How does your warranty work if I purchase a watch from you?
UPDATED: 07 Sep 10:57
What does it mean "if it is covered in their warranty"? Why would it not be? I was under the impression that Fossil SA only cover watches for warranty that are imported and distributed by themselves?

So if you send me a BoB invoice then Fossil will accept it even though you are not an authorised reseller like a jeweller would be?

Thanks for the help....
Last question - would I have to take it to an actual Fossil store or to any jeweller that sells Fossil watches? There is no actual Fossil store in PE. - Asked by

Hi MavericK
Sorry it has taken me two days to get back to you. The watch comes with a two year international Fossil Warranty. So if something should go wrong with your watch Fossil South Africa will repair it(if it is covered in their warranty).
Kind Regards

As quoted by the Fossil website: "During the warranty period, the watch movement, hands, and dial are the only components covered under this warranty". So if something were to go wrong with the strap etc they will fix it or replace it but will charge you for it.
As long as you take your proof of purchase with you to a Fossil Store, they will cover the warranty for two years.

I would think that a jeweller could send it to Fossil on your behalf.
