A fluted powder flask. It has no obvious maker’s marks. It appears to be similar to those produced by G & JW Hawksley Sheffield, in the mid 1800’s The Brass spout is marked “DRAMS” and is graduated in four steps from 2 ¼ to 3 ¼ The opening mechanism is functional and appears to be original. The seams are intact with no splits. One suspension eyelet is missing and the others have original split rings. The brass chain could be a replacement. 23 cm x 9cm |
