This auction is for a group of 8 people (smaller groups can be accommodated – contact the seller). Cost from R11 000 per person for 8 days and includes everything listed below.

You are bidding on a group auction so gather your friends or colleagues!

Day 1:
Meet on arrival at Maun International airport.
Road transfer to the Thamalakane River Lodge - 15 km from the Airport.
Accommodation is in thatched chalets overlooking the river, on a Bed & Breakfast basis. En-suite, Twin or Double thatched chalets are available.

Day 2:
After breakfast we board 4x4 Safari vehicles and head to Moremi Game Reserve.
Camp here for 3 nights in a private exclusive campsite.
Late afternoon and early morning Game Drives.
Returning to camp for a hearty brunch and relaxation through the hotter midday Hours.
Accommodation is in Dome Safari tents with camp stretchers, foam mattresses and bedding provided.

All meals are provided and tea and coffee is available at all times in camp.
Candle lit suppers under a gazebo, with a campfire in close proximity for relaxing and chatting under the stars.

Day 5:
Safari North to the adjoining Chobe National Park to camp in the Savute area.
Stay here 2 nights and as in Moremi we do early morning and late afternoon Game drives as we explore the area, returning to camp for a hearty brunch and siesta through the hotter midday hours.

Day7:
Extended Game Drive as we depart from Chobe National park and head back to Maun.
Picnic Lunch en route arriving in Maun mid-afternoon.
Accommodation is again at Thamalakane River Lodge.

Day 8:
Clients will be transferred to Maun International Airport in time for their flight to Johannesburg.

INCLUDING:
1). Full time attendance of Professional, Registered Safari Guide and backup vehicle with cook & camp assistant.
2). Exclusive use of 4x4 Game Drive vehicle for all game drives and transfers.
3). Park entry and camping fees.
4). Drinks / Mineral water, beers and wine while on Mobile camping leg.
5). 5 Nights tented accommodation as described and all meals in tented Camps.
6). Transfer to Thamalakane Lodge and back to Maun Airport.
7). Accommodation at Thamalakane Lodge, B&B, 2 Nights.

EXCLUDING:
1). International Flights. (Flights into Maun)
2). Drinks at Thamalakane Lodge and Spirits on Mobile Camping leg.
3). Visa fees.
4). Gratuities
5). Compulsory comprehensive travel and medical, rescue, treatment and
repatriation insurance. Onus is on clients to ensure that they have relevant insurance cover from the time of paying.

Special Notes:
Accommodation is in custom designed 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.8m High, Dome
safari tents with foam camping mattresses on camp stretchers provided.
Plus; Duvets, Sheets, Pillows & Towels. Tents have zip up mosquito netting on all doors and windows and as such tents are insect proof.

We provide a variety of big, tasty bush meals for clients at suppers. Breakfasts comprise of tea, coffees, rusks, cereals, toast and jams, and we do a hearty brunch after game drives. When travelling we offer a sandwich and salad picnic style lunch. Tea and coffee is available all day in the campsite.

All other camping and catering equipment is provided. Clients will be accompanied by a Professional, Registered Safari guide and transport in the Parks is in a custom designed 4x4 Safari Vehicle. A backup vehicle with a camp cook precedes us and camp is ready and waiting on our arrival. This is a Zero participation Safari.

*This deal is valid for travel in November or first two weeks in December or early 2013. Actual dates will have to be discussed with buyer and will be dependent on availability of campsites.

ABOUT THE GAME RANGERS ASSOCIATION OF AFRICA

The Game Rangers Association of Africa (GRAA) is a voluntary non-profit organization. The GRAA commits itself to the protection, conservation and, where possible, restoration of Africa`s biodiversity and the continued existence of its wilderness for the benefit of present and future generations.

In order to raise funds the GRAA hosts an annual golf benefit, where all funds raised will go to training more rangers and assist current rangers in their work on the ground.

As part of the golf benefit, the GRAA auctions off exclusive bush experiences.
