Apparently BIS for the BB9530 is not working in South Africa. You can make calls and receive calls. Recently Vodacom has blocked this phone from their network, because it has both GSM and CDMA on the phone. I am still using a BB9530 with MTN and 8ta. I have contacted MTN and the phone is still usable on their network.
