Tired of polishing your silver? Let these Shine-On brand anti-tarnish strips help. Totally safe protection strips do not emit any gases and are non-toxic. They work by neutralising tarnish-causing sulphur gases inside enclosed storage or displays. Each strip measures 7-inch x 2-inch (approx 17.5cm x 5cm). Each strip "covers" / is good enough for about 1 foot (in display cabinets) and lasts up to six months depending on the environment (humidity, etc). Alternatively, cut the strips into smaller pieces and insert into the packaging. According to the manufacturer, if left in sealed bags, the strips can last longer. Store unused strips in airtight container. Follow package instructions for use.
