The bar is packaged in a non-airtight plastic zip-lock bag. If you would require it to be shipped to you, then it will be shipped in a bubble rap envelope with additional cardboard protection on the inside.
There is unfortunately no certificate. The regular APMEX bars generally do not come with certificates. How ever, some numismatic speciality bars often come with certificates. As one example, I have a 4oz speciality bar on sale now which comes with a certificate.
