Q:
Would you consider dropping your price at all?

Possibly somewhere around the 2.5K mark. I have a current phone so not super keen at that price. But I understand that this might be well below what you want. If it doesn't sell by your date, let me know.

Ja I figured that as much - I am really not trying to squeeze you (although that might be what it seems like), but just that I am only tempted for the buy. Basically I have a phone already, but am looking for a Sony Ericsson as an option. I would consider R3000.00 - but am luke warm at the moment - let me know if this is your absolute minimum? Your father in law is a lekka oke - he lectured me ages ago. I have a huge amount of respect for him.

Ok - am not a Nigerian scam - I promise. I would be a definite buyer at R2750.00 - but if you are fixed on R3000.00 then I need to think about it.

Yes, I would. May I ask how much you would offer me for it?

Hi Ben, That is a lot lower than I would like to go, I was hoping for at least R3500. Would you consider R3000? I believe we may know each other vaguely - my father-in-law, Sirion Robertson, filled in for your wife at St Andrews while she was on maternity leave recently?

I understand if the price is too high for you especially if you are not really in the market for a phone - as I said I would like to get R3500, but would be happy to settle for R3000 since I won't have to go to all the effort of packaging and posting. I had an offer to purchase it previously, but that turned out to be a Nigerian scam, which was very disappointing, so it would be nice to sell it to a fellow Grahamstonian.

I don't think I could go lower than R3000, but I'll certainly let you know if I change my mind. Thanks.
