This 1967 English penny was turned into a piece of jewellery in about 1976. The coating is a combination of a cream enamel and gold paint that has all been sealed in a high-gloss tough clear finish on both sides of the coin. It is definitely showing its age, particularly on the sides of the coin. However, still very wearable. The penny hangs on a gold coloured metal chain.
