This custom case (or vault) locks onto your existing PS3 Slim. Not only does this give your console a seriously gung-ho makeover, but it raises the whole thing up, for a better circulation of air.
The industrial foot chassis also makes the unit far more stable in the upright position, leaving plenty of space on the sides for a few Battlefield mainstays – A smoke grenade (not working, sadly) carries the EA/DICE emblems and a claymore mine glows ominously. LEDs set into the vault backlight the claymore in one of three modes.
On a more practical note, the vault has a built-in cradle for a controller or headset. It’s a great place to leave your kit when you’re not using it. Combined with its tough looks and performance-enhancing ventilation system, the Calibur11 Battlefield 3 PS3 Slim Vault is a must for any fan of the series.
