Q:
Once again, why is it that when I bid R130 I Amin second place with the winning bidder also on R130 and if I raise the bid to R150' I am still in second place with the first place filled by the same person also on R150, and suddenly the bid of R130 vanished altogether?

Hi,
The way the bidding works is controlled by Bidorbuy. We do not have any control over that. However, I do understand it works and can explain quickly:
When a buyer bids on Bidorbuy, they put their MAX bid in, not their actual bid amount. This allows the system to keep bidding automatically on behalf of the buyer.
Say for example "Sizila" has put their max bid to R200 (I can not see what their max bid actually is, I am just using this as an example). So what the system will do, is keep bidding up, until it gets to the R200.
So in your case, you bid R130. As that was below R200, "Sizila" automatically outbids you instantly at the same amount. You then bid R150, and again, "Sizila" outbids you. So, anytime you bid under R200, "Sizila" will overtake you.
If however, you bid R201 (or more), your bid will now be ontop, as it is more than "Sizila's" bid.
Again, please remember, this is just an example of "Sizila's" max bid so that you can get an understanding of how the system works.
