This is a glass bottle covered with the most intricate metal work casing. It is beautiful. The top screws off, the top and bottom halves can separate and you can take both of the bottle, leaving the bottle naked so to speak to wash and then slip it all back on again. I am not sure where it is from or what metal was used but seeing as it has an elephant as part of the design I suspect it could be Indian silver from India. The top of the screw top lid is tarnished in a rusty kind of way. The metal is strong and can stand up on its own.
Anyway it is stunning and lovely for the home liqueur maker to serve his drink out of.
