Rare Silver Shipwreck Coin. This is an old authentic silver Spanish Shipwreck coin. It weighs 21.2grams, 32mm in diameter and goes by the name Spanish Cob, Reale or Pieces of Eight. (Some of the more learned numismatists are welcome to correct me on this and add more information as I may perhaps not be 100% correct.) I would date this coin to the 1600's sometime. It cannot be verified, but I was told that it was found at a shipwreck off the South African coast. For a shipwreck coin that lay under the sea for many years, I would say that it is in a good condition with a lot of detail still legible. It has been cleaned as is done with most shipwreck coins.
