(20 October 2008) bobshop recently introduced a Best Guess competition for South African bloggers. In this competition, bloggers are invited to guess the highest amount a shopper will bid for the high-value items offered on the One Day, One Rand no-reserve auctions. These auctions traditionally run on Thursdays. The honour of kicking-off the Best Guess competition befell VW Tena City.
To participate in the competition, all you need to do is to best-guess the highest bid in your blog and send the blog URL address to promotion@bobshop.co.za before Thursday 9am – that is, before the auction opens. If your guess turns out to be the best, Bob Shop will contact you, get your bank details and transfer the prize amount of R300 into your account. It’s as simple as that!
If two or more bloggers come with the same closest winning bid estimate, the blogger who posted his or her entry first will win the Bob Shop car auction competition.
