In order to sell you will need to register as a seller (after first having registered as a buyer). Registering as a seller involves entering a guaranteed form of payment (either South African bank details or credit card). At the time of registering as a seller we will make a debit of R10 using your chosen payment method, which is credited to your Bob Shop account and can be used towards your future Bob Shop fees. This is done to ensure authenticity of sellers as well as to confirm your payment details should you incur any fees from Bob Shop. Most categories on Bob Shop do not incur any fees to list an item however a percentage (between 3.5% and 5%) is charged for successful sales. This means you can list items with no risk - no sale no success fee. There are exceptions for some special options and categories however you will always be clearly warned of any fees you will be charged upon confirming any items you list. See our Fee Rate Card for a break down of all our charges. Find out more about registering as a seller.

If you intend to make a business out of selling on Bob Shop we strongly recommend you attend one of our selling seminars.
