Signed soccer shirts on Bob Shop auctionsJerseys signed by Bernard Parker, Andile Jali and the Ivory Coast side, as well as  a Juan De Jongh and Eben Etzebeth signed shirt feature in the SOS Children's Villages South Africa auctions

(30 May 2014) If you want to own a jersey signed by Bernard Parker or Andile Jali, head for the South African online marketplace www.bobshop.co.za, where SOS Children's Villages South Africa is auctioning off the signed Parker and Jali soccer jerseys.

The SOSCV SA fund-raising auctions on Bob Shop also include a jersey signed by the entire 2013 Ivory Coast national team, among them such international soccer stars as Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba.

Also on auction is a Stormers Curry Cup shirt signed by Juan De Jongh and Eben Etzebeth, which is likely to find favour with rugby fans, while music aficionados will welcome a chance to own an impressive Kurt Darren Platinum CD memorabilia collection.

The SOS Children's Villages Association secured the sports memorabilia through Africa's biggest sports players¿ agency Prosport International, while the Kurt Darren memorabilia was donated by the musician himself.

Auctions on Bob Shop aim to raise funds and awareness of SOSCV SA, a 32 years old non-profit organisation whose projects include children's villages, family strengthening programmes, as well as educational, training and production facilities.

All auctions started from R1, without reserve, and are open until 17 June 2014. Anyone over the age of 18 can place a bid, on a desktop or an internet connected mobile device.

In case of charity listings, Bob Shop waives their usual selling commission, which can be up to five percent of the selling price. That means that all the proceeds from the current auctions will go to the benefiting charity, SOSCV SA.
