Landscape by P. Van Blommestein
On offer this original oil painting of a landscape by renowned South African artist, "Peter Daniel van Blommestein", signed in the lower left corner. It is framed in a painted wooden frame. With frame it measures 47.5x68cm and painting only 33x54.5cm. I'm not 100% sure whether it is oil or acrylic. This painting must be one of his earlier works as it does show it's age with some foxing and age spots on the left hand side of the painting as well as what looks like a small paint/varnish spill also on the lhs.
