Victor Visser Original

On offer this beatiful original oil on canvas of a landscape with majestic mountains by renowned South African artist Victor Visser, signed in the lower left corner. It is framed. It measures 52x36cm (with frame) and 47x32cm (painting only). This painting is old, has even crazing on it (mostly noticable in the sky area) as can be seen in the photos and a magnified photo of this (see last pic). Still a beautiful collectible piece from one of South Africa's landscape artists.

Unfortunately information on Visser is sketchy, other than that he specialised in mountains and country scenes of the Western Cape, is retired from painting and Michael Albertyn (senior) studied under him.
