Pieter-Dirk has entertained audiences for more than 40 years and shares his life with Evita Bezuidenhout - 'the most famous white woman in South Africa'. Together they have toured the world, launched a new political party and have performed in front of kings and princes.

Pieter-Dirk has a passion for helping others and been travelling around South Africa, visiting more than 1.5 million school children, as well as prisons and reformatories with an free AIDS-awarness show called "For facts sake!".

He has won many awards, including SA's prestigious Truth and Reconcialtion Award. Evita, his alter-ego, proudly received the Living Legacy 2000 Award in San Diego, USA.

Peter-Dirk lives in Darling, where he has converted the old railway station into a cabaret venue called EVITA SE PERRON. He is very actively involved in his own community and founded the Darling Trust and has recently opened a swimming pool for the community.
