This is a vintage Gillette Ball End Tech safety razor. The razor was made by GIllette in the USA. The date code is Z3 (Third Quarter of 1979). The razor is in very good condition - 8/10. This is a three piece razor with a crome plated steel handle. This gives the razor excellent balance (later models used lighter Aluminium handles) . The Gillette Ball end tech is a great razor for beginners. It gives a very mild friendly shave. The Gillette etching on the top cap is excellent. There are some minor scuff marks on the base plate. The entire razor has been cleaned, oiled, and polished and buffed. It is ready to shave - just screw in a blade :)
This is a classic piece of shaving history, and it's safe to say that they don't make them like this anymore.
