How to use
Place item you are studding (face up so you may see exact placement) at the die base
Put stud directly on the area you are working on, align with the top, when working with thicker materials place the stud on the bottom/base of the die and push down slightly on the handle to pick the stud into the top of the die then slide your work in between or place the stud directly into the top of the die
Press down on handle (firm but no need for excessive force)
