Pieter Uitlander (1952) was born in the Great Karoo on a farm near Steynsburg.
His work of this size (63cm x 55cm) used to go for around R7,500 about three years back - it now fetches over R25,000.
It is our view that Uitlander will become sort after. He was a good friend of Gregoire Boonzaaier and developed inspiration from him.
