Fees

To list items on Bob Shop is generally free and Sellers only pay a commission (Success Fee) for successful sales. There is a charge for listing items in certain categories such as Cars and Property as well as for certain optional enhancements. View the Fee Rate Card for a full break down of all fees.

Methods of Fee Payment

You will receive an invoice for your Bob Shop fees on the first working day of every month, reflecting your Bob Shop account activity for the past month. In addition, you can view your account at any time, by accessing your bobshop account in the 'My Bob Shop' section. If you would like to see every individual transaction be sure to select the detail view.

Please note - Basic Sellers who list Classifieds will be billed up front and the fees will be payable in advance via credit card or if the seller has sufficient credit in their bob account, the fees will be automatically debited from the current credit balance as per the bobPay option below. Should there be insufficient credit available, the full amount will have to be paid using a credit card in advance.

If you are using bobPay as a payment option to receive payments from your Buyers, these funds received on your behalf will be used to offset any fees owing to Bob Shop before pay outs are made to you. In the case of any additional funds outstanding at the end of the month or where you do not use bobPay, Sellers are required to enter a guaranteed form of payment (either credit card or bank debit order details) to be used for fee payments.

bobshop will attempt to debit any outstanding balance on your Bob Shop account from the previous month on the 7th of each month (or the nearest working day thereafter). If your account is settled before the 7th of the month Bob Shop will not attempt to debit your credit card or bank account.

There are two options for paying your Bob Shop account manually (does not apply to Basic Sellers listing Classifieds):

1. Using the secure online form to pay any outstanding balance by credit card.

2. Making a direct deposit or EFT into bobshop's bank account as follows:

Account Name: Bob Shop (Pty) Ltd.
Bank: Nedbank Limited
Branch: Business Westrand
Branch Code: 128 605
Account Number: 1286 022 827
Account Type: Current Account

International Sellers, when paying your Bob Shop fees by wire transfer, please include the following information:

Account Name: Bob Shop (Pty) Ltd
Bank: Nedbank Limited
Branch: Business Westrand
Branch Code: 198 765
Bank Address: Stonebridge House, 300 Acacia Road, Randburg, 2194, South Africa
Account Number: 1286 022 827
Account Type: Current Account
SWIFT Code: NEDSZAJJ

Ensure that you use the correct reference for your payment i.e. your Bob Shop invoice/statement number or Bob Shop user ID. This will ensure that your Bob Shop account is credited correctly. If for whatever reason, your monthly debit fails, you may make payment by no later than the 15th of the month, for the previous month's outstanding balance.

You are responsible for paying your Bob Shop account every month, by no later than the 15th day of the month, even in the event that you do not receive your tax invoice/statement. It is therefore your responsibility to check your current Bob Shop account balance in the 'My Bob Shop' section. Your historic invoices can also be viewed online.

bobshop requires payment of accounts in full every month. Failure to make a payment, will cause your Bob Shop account to become overdue, and may result in your account being disabled or blacklisted. Overdue Bob Shop accounts will be charged interest at the current Nedbank Limited prime interest rate as determined from time to time, and you could also be made liable for any legal fees incurred by Bob Shop.

Credits And Refunds

Listing and enhancement fees are non-refundable. Success Fees can be refunded under certain circumstances. View the SNC process for more information about claiming back Success Fees. If you have a credit balance in your Bob Shop account you can leave these funds in your account to be used towards future fees or request a pay out to your South African bank account
